What Others Say About D&L Sports™, Inc.

Dave:
Got the Fed Ex package today. Really like your Kydex holster and mag pouch. Just put 225 rds thru your 5" pro model. Work phenomenally!! Not one malfunction, and it is one hell of a shooter, more accurate than I am. What a great weapon, thanks a ton. Looks like this one is a keeper!! Thanks for the great customer service, you have a dedicated customer.
Thanks,
Tactical Shooter

At the ITRC shooters engage carbine targets out to 500 yards, and the ITRC provides extreme tests of reliability and rifle endurance by firing 400 rounds worth of aimed carbine/rifle fire in 20 minutes.

Hey Dave,
I wanted to give you an update on my Professional Model 45 as well as my CQB carbine. As you know, I carry each firearm on patrol all the time. They are also my primary firearms for the Special Response Team. After two years with the 45, I have close to 50,000 rounds through the gun. The gun still cycles flawlessly and feels as smooth as it did when I first received it. It is a good feeling knowing that you don’t have to worry about the reliability of your gun at any time. The CQB carbine has the same report. Many rounds and no malfunctions whatsoever. I just recently returned from the National SWAT Championships near Castle Rock, Colorado. Needless to say, no problems with the guns that receive many second looks from other officers. On one course, a precision shot was required. While every other shooter was using a heavy barrel .308 rifle, I used my CQB carbine. I was told later by range officers that I shot the target faster than any other shooter. The hole in the target was dead center. On another occasion, I recently finished teaching two weeks of firearms training for my department. The other instructor at the class continued to tell classes that my D&L Sports™ pistol was the only 1911 that he has never seen malfunction. Thanks for all the quality, I never have to question the quality of equipment you produce.

Dear David:
I recently had the opportunity of firing the David Lauck Signature 45. I can begin my story by saying that when I went to the pistol range to make the transfer, I opened up the box with a clerk. He was amazed at the sight and feel of the weapon. I had not had the weapon in my hand for more than five seconds when a man/total stranger walked up and asked me if I wanted to sell it. I said no. He said, "that is a D&L Sports™, isn't it?" Again, he looked at me and asked if I wanted to sell it. Again, I informed him "no." Since I have owned the pistol, I have put approximately 2000 rounds through it. What I have learned from the pistol is that it has had some really awesome insight designs placed in it. Because of my training, I shoot golf ball sized targets at 7, 10, 15, 25 and 35 feet. The grouping at 35 feet and even out to 40 feed works well with this pistol. The lighting conditions both in the high and low illumination work well. I was very impressed with the sights. Overall, the pistol has shown an excellent amount of work and it has replaced my other pistols for personal and professional carry.

Most AR-15 style rifles cannot be used as a battering ram. But the rifles produced by Dave Lauck at D&L Sports™ are the exception! The accuracy is superb as well as the strong but lightweight D&L aluminum stock, a piece of art. Comfort, strength and the ability to store lots of stuff in the three accessory tubes. The secondary tube has ample room for a GI length sectional cleaning rod and related cleaning supplies and/or related carbine accessories (such as extra batteries). The secondary tube is accessed through a coin slotted threaded rear port cover. The third short tube on the stock is perfect for extra surefire battery carry, or carrying a complete extra bolt assembly. Prefitting/headspacing a complete bolt assembly to the carbine will allow quick field change out capability in the event problems develop with extraction, ejection, gas rings, and or bolt lugs on the primary bolt assembly. To access the third tube one simply needs to screw the tube out forward away from the stock's buttplate unit. A generous hole in the front of the tube allows the turn out to even be accomplished with a cartridge case. These rifles feature a premium grade stainless steel, full contour and length heavy barrel and yes, multiple barrel twist rates are available. Match grade modular trigger group. Full length superduty handguard locked to the receiver. We might just do a review on the handguard alone, the perfect size and weight, and when we say locked to the receiver, there is no jiggle or possibility of it coming loose! Forged A-3 dimension 7075 T-6 or thick walled 6066 T-6 aluminum riser upper and forged lower receiver. The rifle features a low stress gas system, custom pistol grip, bi-pod mount. Each has a fitted, headspaced and tested bolt group, go ahead and order an additional bolt to store in the door kicking stock! There are several finishes available. The D&L AR-15 package was the first rifle to surpass Col. Jeff Cooper's 20/20/20 challenge. For those of you out there asking whats that. It is 20 shots fired in less than 20 seconds, into less than a 20 inch circle at 1000 yards. The D&L is pictured with a Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 rifle scope and illuminated D&L reticle another one of Dave's creations. It's cool, and practical like everything Dave Lauck does with his firearms. A favorite here is the Extreme Duty .223 magazines D&L produces. Custom magazines, SWEET! These are the nicest mags available, and one of the greatest things about them is they don't fail

Hi Dave,
The gun looks great...really great. The sight picture is perfect. One thing I really like is the fact that the front insert is larger and green while the rears are smaller and appear white so there's no way you can get them confused. That's much better than the Trijicons on my duty Glocks where they all appear the same...what a great idea. We picked it up, took a sight picture and said "wow, that's MUCH better"...it's a really cool piece of work.

Dave,
The J frame sights are wonderful, the sight picture is stark and fast, yet the sights are low profile and rounded. My J frame was sighted in to be dead nuts on, and it is! Recommend for snubby revolvers!
