Dave,
My Desert Storm combat veteran son told me your name was all over the advanced combat training manual. Thank you for your help and dedication to our troops. And thank you for putting so much attention into my Colt 1911. I missed it while you had it, my Kinber jams too much.
Thanks again, |

I received the 1911 pistol sights designed by Dave Lauck. What a nice sight it is! I am happy to have this sight. Thank you very much for your help, |

Dave,
I
got a chance to take the CQB carbine out. I fired 3 kinds of ammo through it with no jams. Worked great... It grouped less than one inch even though the wind was blowing a gale. |

D&L Sports™,
The way you have set up your AR-15 iron sights to co-witness with optics is impressive. Your setup takes it a step above. Your handguard setup is superior. Add a rail here and there as needed, and keep the rest of the handguard free for a comfortable, solid grip. Your CQB carbine is real world practicality, I am very impressed. Your rifles are as good as they get.
Thanks again, |

| Dave, I got the 1911 today, highly pleased. Multiple firearms instructors and our SWAT team commander have already examined it. I have already had offers to buy it and I told them all to "bite me". I have had many 1911 pistols and all of them had some type of problem which caused me to sell them. Now that I have two 1911s from you that perform perfectly there is no reason to sell. 100% reliability is the goal and your prices are a bargain. It's nice to know that in this world of constant change and questionable quality that there is someone who delivers like you do. Your a hell of a guy, thanks again! |

| Dave Lauck's CQB carbine is packed with special features that few have seen yet. Operators agree with D&L's forward open rear sight design. Lauck's stock design and construction is of the highest quality. The finish process on the carbine is extremely tough. D&L's muzzle brake design is indeed very effective. The carbine produced 100 yard 5 shot groups of 0.87" with correct ammunition, and no malfunctions were encountered. |

| D&L's MR-700 conversion of the Rem700 consistantly delivered 1/4" groups at 100 yards. The trigger breaks cleanly with absolutely no creep or over- travel. I have found it to be reliable under the most adverse environmental conditions. Lauck's MR-700/MR-30PG stock fits shooters to perfection. It looks a bit odd, but handsome is as handsome does. I found the handle to be addictively handy, and it provides protection for the optics, as well as supports the sniper's veil. There is never a failure to feed with Lauck's shoot one, load one system. I had no problem placing 5 rounds in a tight group at 100 yards in 21 seconds. Lauck's rifles have developed an enviable track record among armed professionals and sport shooters alike. Lauck's marksman rifle systems work in the "real world". I recommend the marksman's rifles from D&L Sports™ with enthusiasm. |

Dave,
I have carried your CQB carbine with the forward mounted iron sights and Aimpoint Optic on patrol now for almost a year. To say the least, the rifle has taken a beating. The rough washboard roads, have jarred the carbine on more than one occasion, and the dusty desert sand has infiltrated about every square inch. I fire the rifle on a regular basis and have had no change in the pint of impact with either sight system. The accuracy (superb) is the same as when I first obtained the rifle, even after close to 8000 rounds through it. The rifle is the most rugged I have ever had, and I recommend it to everyone looking for a solid patrol carbine. |

| It is safe to say that the D&L MR-30PG is a tough act to follow. The D&L professional grade rifle consistantly delivers sub 1/4 MOA five round groups in my hands. The stock fits a prone shooter to perfection. There is never a failure to feed. Lauck's rifles have developed an enviable track record among armed professionals and serious sport shooters alike. This is a system that works in the real world. The MR-30PG would be my choice |

| I wish to hell I would have known about your shop some 15 years ago. I would not have wasted my money on other guns that did not perform to the standard you deliver. The guys I work with have the look of envy on qualification day when they compare their targets to mine. I have had offers for the 45, but all have been turned down, yours has been my first 1911 that has been 100% reliable. For the record, I have had no malfunctions whatsoever, and the pistol is still bank vault solid after years of service. |

Dave,
Just returned from my Gunsite class. The full-size 1911s you did for me several years ago both ran fine, no malfunctions. Thanks again for your fine work and excellent service. I'm alsways surprised how quick you get things fixed with your busy schedule. |

| A substantial section of a firearms library could be devoted to books by Dave Lauck...who is among the best of 1911 craftsmen. Only my custom 1911s by Lauck will deliver that magic 1" group accuracy at 25 yds. |

Hello Dave
Just got back into town, thought I'd drop you a quick e-mail to let you know how things are going here in Hawaii. I got to shoot the rifle. I wanted to shoot the right recommended ammo for my rifle, the (fed tru 55 grn btip). I went to 100 yards, I shot 5 rounds, which landed up in a nice small group, actually all the holes were touching each other. That's when I said oh yeah, I am gonna really like this rifle. I think you did a great job on it and I am extremely happy with it. Can't wait to take it out again to tweak it in for me and do some longer range stuff. All I know is other shooters just wish that they were me. If my rifle was a girl I'd marry it, ha ha. Anyway Dave, that's my story. The boys really appreciate the art work.
Thanks again, |

Dave,
Just thought you would like to know that I set the new record in the 300 yard prone event. I shot a perfect score, twice! That's 200 points, with 20x ring hits. Target is attached. The work you did worked beautifully.
-Thank you |

Dave,
When the Fire Fight started at the battle of the boneyard (Afghanistan), I had my teammate from 3 years ago at the D&L Match and Training course. He took a lot of shit about being a Cav in a Special Forces unit, but when the shooting started some ran for cover and some came to the sound of Gun Fire, He was there when I needed him. The fire he and the others put into the building was a thing of beauty. Everything was on target, and on time. The training we received at D&L was a life saver. Afghanistan is a lot like Wyoming (less the trees and grass). Much of what we did that night was CQB and multiple target engagement with both weapons. I do not know how you could of written a training plan, that could have better prepare us for that battle, THANKS (you will forever be on my Christmas list)! Than night there were 3 of the soldiers in the fight that you trained at your course. We all agree that your training would save so many lives over here, if only we could get more soldiers out to D&L. I will be moving to take over as the Chief of Operations for all Special Forces in Afghanistan (that will include TF 160).
looking forward to D&L next year, |

Dave,
The CQB sights look very interesting. A simple but "brilliant" design. I would like to give them a try. |
